Sudoku for Kids and Other Fun Activities
Sudoku is so much fun! I was avoiding those puzzles because I am no good at math whatsoever until my oldest son got me hooked. I thought you had to add up all these numbers to equal something - not for me! But that is simply not the case - it's all about logic. And my younger kids love them trying to help me out. So I created some Sudoku puzzles just for them.
This Sudoku for kids doesn't use numbers - it uses pictures. And to make it easy enough so they don't have to draw the pictures (although they can if they want) I have included the missing pictures at the bottom - they simply cut them out, rearrange them and then paste in place. Simply print out the picture sudoku and go for it.
If you would like an update whenever new articles, puzzles, crafts and more are on line you can subscribe to my free newsletter Learning Treasures. Just click on the newsletter link. I will be posting more Sudoku and other puzzles. If I can make something for you just let me know.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Everyone!
I hope your Christmas was as blessed as ours was. It has been an interesting last few months for our family. We moved from MT to OK at the end of October, went back east to see family in November and upon arriving back in OKC we got hit with ice storms! So we spent a week with friends because we had no power.
But school has started back up here at our house and I there are some great new things posted on my various websites. First off, even though the holidays are over, it's still winter. Here are some great ideas for catching and making snowmen - Snowflake Crafts for Kids. And if you don't have any snow you can make your own Frosty the Snowman. If your kids like coloring as much as mine you can color a Frosty the Snowman Coloring Page.
Home Ec is one of our goals this year and much of what we will be learning is going to be about canning & preserving. I have posted a great recipe for a gifts in a jar recipe - coconut oatmeal cookie mix. And nothing goes with cookies better than coffee, except milk of course, so you may want to check out the dry mix recipe to make your own amaretto coffee creamer.
I will be posting at least weekly with all new links, ideas and fun - and all for FREE!
Stay warm,
Belinda
